A Regional First in Maternal Care

The Maternal and Infant Health (MaIH) Center at Sam Rodgers.

In a first-of-its-kind partnership, Sam Rodgers and Altruism, Inc. are joining forces to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Kansas City. The MaIH Center at Sam Rodgers is located at 2121 Summit St., marking Altruism’s expansion from rural Lafayette County to Kansas City’s urban core.

A major milestone in maternal health care for the region, the Sam Rodgers–Altruism partnership brings culturally grounded doula care and support services to families in the heart of the city.
